Please join the Charles M. Neviaser Educational Institute of Community Hospice & Palliative Care for the latest forum in its Thought Leadership Series. The recent mass shooting in Las Vegas has impacted people throughout the United States. Our world has changed. It changes each time we are assaulted by a violent tragedy that makes the news. Our assumptions about life also have changed, and we must live with the knowledge that the world is not as safe as it once was. Some people experience grief when confronted with the news of such tragedies. This grief may be related to other losses at any time in life. This free presentation will offer an explanation of grief, how it is manifested, what we can do to help ourselves and others who are grieving, and how and why the Las Vegas tragedy and other horrific events impact each of us differently. There is no cost to register, and refreshments will be served. RSVP HERE or call 904.407.6998 by Wednesday, Nov. 15. Space is limited.
