The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Hospice Survey measures and assesses the hospice care experiences of deceased patients and their informal caregivers. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) developed the CAHPS Hospice Survey with input from key organizations and individuals, including government agencies, consumer groups, and industry stakeholders. Implementation of the survey supports national priorities for improving care, including involving patients and families in care and promoting effective communication and coordination.
Administration of a successful survey process encompasses reviewing the topics, measures, and approved vendors, as well as scoring and benchmarking. This webinar will provide solutions for areas of concern and address the challenge of getting a significant return on surveys.
