With news of False Claims Act cases involving hospices becoming more frequent, hospices need to establish organizational objectives that proactively prevent and address compliance issues. A key part of setting any hospice’s goals is recognizing the issues on the government’s radar. This session will explore the Office of the Inspector General (“OIG”) focus areas as seen through past and present Work Plans. Attendees will learn how to use historical trends and current OIG target areas to set priorities for their organizations.
