“The countdown is on for the Hospice Open Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, September 28, at Parkland Golf & Country Club. Attendees will support their local hospice services and enjoy the day on a great course.

The event marks an important joint effort for Hospice by the Sea Foundation and Hospice of Broward County Foundation, since the hospice organizations combined in 2014. Once competitors, Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County and Broward County now serve the community together as TrustBridge Health.

In addition to the tournament, participants will be able to enjoy lunch, an awards cocktail reception and a silent auction.

A Parkland resident and young entrepreneur, event chairman Luke Freeman has been instrumental in creating the fundraiser, while taking on the mission of hospice as his personal cause.”
