Each individual grieves in his or her own unique way; however, the feelings associated with grief can be equally consuming for anyone who is mourning the loss of a loved one. Polk County residents to know they do not have to grieve alone.
Each Thursday morning, a Cornerstone Hospice certified grief counselor holds a grief support group where residents experiencing sadness, anger or other feelings can address and learn to cope with their loss, whether recent or from some time ago.
The grief support group will be held every Thursday, from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at Highland Park Church in Lakeland. Participation is free but registration is required.
