Compliance with the Emergency Preparedness Regulation Guidance is not just mandatory, it’s good sense.  The lives of your patients, staff, and business depend on having a well-thought-out, detailed emergency plan.  Considering the recent range of disasters to strike our country, it is more important than ever to prepare using an all-hazards approach.  The November 16, 2016, CMS emergency preparedness rules were sweeping and intense, requiring affected healthcare providers and suppliers to comply and implement all regulations within one year.  As of November 17, 2017, surveyors are using the new requirements to evaluate compliance.  Noncomplying providers and suppliers will be cited and required to follow standard procedures for correcting deficiencies.

This webinar will review the requirements for home care and hospice, offer tools to crosscheck provider plans, and facilitate a mini tabletop drill for participants.  Providers that submit an after-action report will receive a certificate of completion.
