BREVARD COUNTY, FL – Hospice of St. Francis will begin offering monthly informational sessions on an Introduction to Hospice Volunteering beginning in September 2015.  This is a free service and anyone considering being a hospice volunteer, now or in the future, is encouraged to attend.  Participants will learn about the hospice philosophy and model of care, the history of Hospice of St. Francis, and the role of volunteers in supporting hospice patients and families.  Participants will not be asked to commit to volunteering.
The Intro to Hospice Volunteering sessions will be offered at both Hospice of St. Francis office locations.  The Melbourne office located at 4875 N. Wickham Road, Suite 104, Melbourne 32940 will hold their session on the third Wednesday of each month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The Hospice of St. Francis office located at 1250-B Grumman Place, Titusville 32780 will hold their sessions on the first Tuesday of each month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
