The VP Information Technology provides strategic technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the affiliate-wide information technology (IT) program. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing the technology needs of Empath Health, Stratum Health and its affiliated organizations. The VP, IT leads the Agencies in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations.

This role is the operational and technical leader across all IT related functions of the organization and will develop the overall IT strategy. The VP, IT is responsible for the design and delivery of infrastructure, applications, and services in full alignment with the organization’s strategic initiatives.

Position Requirements

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or 10 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven years or more of senior management/supervisory experience required, prefer prior leadership experience in health care industry.
• Three years or more experience leading an outsourcer agreement and/or moving to an outsourcer for various aspects of IT.
• Demonstrates strengths in collaboration and partnership to attain strategic goals, business plan development and execution, organization and follow-through.
• Places high priority on establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, internally and externally, to achieve Agency goals.
