Awareness Campaign Helps Public Understand Hospice
Florida Hospice & Palliative Care Association (FHPCA) is pleased to announce Let Hospice Help, a new initiative to increase public awareness of hospice care in Florida.
Paul Ledford, President & CEO of FHPCA, says, “We realize that there is a lot of information out there about hospice, but oftentimes sifting through that information can be overwhelming for a family member trying to understand hospice for the first time. This campaign is simple and clean, and gets patients and families to information quickly and easily.”
The Let Hospice Help campaign aims to give the basics of what a patient or a family member needs to know about hospice, but also to highlight some of the lesser know benefits of hospice care, such as grief and bereavement support.
