Description:
Responsible for user support on the Electronic Medical Record System. Assists with moderate and diversified projects in support of the activities and operations of the Business Applications Department. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, resolves those problems or redirects problem to appropriate resource and maintains audit trail of user requested assistance in accordance with department policy. Responsible for maintenance on user security, table content and user set up in the system in accordance with department policy.
Hours: Fri 1:00pm-9:30pm, Sat/Sun 9:00am-9:30pm & Mon 9:00am-5:30pm
Requirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Requires 1 years experience in a help desk or patient care environment, preferably with Hospice and medical billing. Knowledge of medical terminology for medication review and diagnosis entry helpful. Extensively proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Mastery of essential general office procedures; healthcare terminology and systems preferred. Skilled in extracting and compiling technical data; report format for tables, graphs, slides, and statistical reports. Self-starter and effective problem solver. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Displays professional demeanor and maintains confidentiality. EMR helpdesk, post implementation support and assistance highly desirable.

Responsibilities include project management and design of complex MicroStrategy Reports and Dashboards, as well as, making recommendations on healthcare data comparisons to be used for benchmark purposes. Will work with IT as it relates to changes to Meta Data Layer Objects to support the reports/dashboards to be created, and assisting in the testing of ETL processes as needed to test data integrity. Also, responsible for assisting in the development and ongoing maintenance of a data governance model to ensure the accuracy of the underlying data warehouse elements. Also, responsible for working with management to ensure reports are being developed that result in measurable outcomes, and/or assist in performing variance analysis, data manipulation and reporting of both clinical and financial information to both internal and external parties as needed.
