Role:

This role provides technical and managerial leadership in the overall management of current and planned application systems and services. This position ensures continuity and alignment of the Corporation’s business and clinical application services direction and plans with strategic plans, and facility needs, and participates in architecting the corporation’s application services infrastructure and in the development of guidelines, procedures, and standards.

 

Additionally, oversees analyst team and coordinates consistent support of business and clinical and applications. Also assists in resolving highly complex issues regarding applications, coordinates system wide testing and implementation of software releases, assists in developing strategies for training and tools for all business and clinical applications across the division, and champions standardization, utilization, optimization and use of best practices in business and clinical applications.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Systems or a related field. An advanced degree in Information Systems, Business, Planning, or related field is a plus
  • Three years of experience in applications support required
  • Three years managerial experience including budgeting, maintaining policies and database analysis required
  • Experience in team leadership and direct supervision
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of current and emerging business and clinical applications technology
  • Mature understanding of clinical application support processes and workflow
  • Understands pertinent regulatory guidelines
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify needs, manage resources, and multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated customer orientation
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain staff
  • Demonstrated ability to work in stressful situations
  • Competency in basic PC use and required tools
  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance
  • Must be able to drive to assigned sites to complete work

Role:

Supports one or more IT business systems to provide maintenance, development, training, and security of the IT systems for the Company. Responsibilities include report development, technical support for computer system on an agency-wide basis, system upgrades and testing, training, vendor management, and various related tasks that may be assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferable but may be substituted by substantial work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of technical experience with progressive responsibility.
  • Financial BA must be proficient with GL, HR, Payroll and ancillary systems.
  • Clinical BA must be proficient with EMR, Pharmacy, Compliance and ancillary systems.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised exercising a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to interface with various staff and managers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical, organized and able to effectively manage many tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to plan, organize, execute and oversee testing for system upgrades.
  • Ability to perform various methods of software testing, including white box / black box testing, positive testing, negative testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, or user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to effectively identify, troubleshoot and resolve low to moderately complex issues with assigned software applications.
  • Ability to gather low to moderately complex user requirements and translate them into scope documents that are meaningful to both application development and business users, and promotes best practices and procedures related to the use of assigned software applications.
  • Ability to define specifications and mock-up for complex reports.
  • Ability to manage and produce data reports.
  • Ability to manage and track large volumes of data.
  • Technical Training experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance as per policy.
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations.
