4-week Alzheimer’s Disease Caregivers Education Series

HPH Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Association Florida Gulf Coast chapter will host a four-week Alzheimer’s series for individuals caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or those who anticipate being in the position of caring for someone with the disease.
The program will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursdays, August 16 to September 6, at the HPH Hospice team office, 6807 Rowan Road, New Port Richey.
Topics include an overview of Alzheimer’s, how the disease changes communications and dealing with difficult behaviors. There will also be information on research and treatment. Each week will include discussion time.
