The long anticipated overtime rules are final and become effective December 1, 2016.  The minimum salary for the “white-collar” exemption increased from $23,660 to $47,476 per year, and the minimum salary for the “highly compensated employee” exemption increased from $100,000 to $134,004.  In addition, these rules implement a concept which has never been available before – the use of nondiscretionary bonuses to satisfy up to 10% of the salary requirement.

These new rules will have a substantial impact on your organization both monetarily and operationally.  Preparation should start several months in advance.  This webinar will help you evaluate the available alternatives regarding employees who will no longer qualify for an overtime exemption.  Join us to learn how to best use each alternative to save time and money.
