Florida Hospital Hosts Palliative Care Seminars

 

VOLUSIA & FLAGLER COUNTIES, Fla. – Join Florida Hospital for “Palliative Care: Helping Patients Live Life to the Fullest.” These free seminars will address how palliative care can provide comprehensive support to people living with cancer, as well as their families.

 

Palliative care is a type of specialized medical care for people facing life-threatening illnesses like cancer. It focuses on providing patients with relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness and strives to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.

  • December 2 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at DeBary Golf & Country Club, 300 Plantation Club Drive, DeBary
  • December 10 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Florida Hospital Flagler, Education Center, 60 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Palm Coast
  • December 16 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Cancer Institute, 224 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Daytona Beach
