After her husband, Dr. Mayo, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, Mrs. Jean K. Mayo founded Alzheimer’s Support Group in 1981. The organization held monthly meetings for caregivers and health care personnel interested in learning more about the disease. Ultimately, prompted by an increased need for a group in the community, Alzheimer’s Support Group was incorporated and renamed Alzheimer’s Family Services and recently rebranded under the Covenant Care family and renamed Covenant Alzheimer’s Services.

Our mission is to provide education and emotional support through a variety of services including: memory screens, support groups, tracking devices for wandering patients, respite, and counseling. Covenant Alzheimer’s Services is part of the Covenant Care family.
