Pensacola, Fla. – The Children’s Support Services Department of Covenant Hospice is sponsoring a one-day grief support camp called Camp Monarch from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20 This is a unique camp for children and adolescents ages 6-15 who have recently experienced the loss of a loved one. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

 

This year, the camp will feature an adventure theme complete with activities and games tailored for different age groups, including a four hourlow ropes course and much more. The camp will be held at Adventures Unlimited in Milton and is free to all participants. It includes lunch and snacks. To register, please call Ariell Ussery at 850-207-3697.

 

Covenant Hospice is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate services to patients and loved ones during times of life-limiting illnesses.  The focus of Covenant Hospice is to enable its patients to live as fully and comfortably as possible, to provide dignified palliative care, to assist patients’ loved ones in coping with end-of-life issues and the eventual death of the patient, and to improve care for all patients at the end of their lives by example and education.
