Avow Butterfly Ball set for February 20, 2016

 

Funds raised will benefit hospice, grief support and palliative care programs in Collier County

 

Naples, Fla., (November 13, 2015) –  The Avow Founding Women’s Board will host the 2016 Butterfly Ball at the Naples Grande Beach Resort on February 20, 2016.  All proceeds benefit the hospice, palliative care and grief support programs offered by Avow.  Ball ticket price is set at $300 per person. A patron-awards luncheon event will be held in advance of the Ball on February 9; tickets are $100.  For more information call 239-261-4404. “Each year our Ball takes on a new theme inspired by the travels of the butterfly,” said Avow Board member Lee Pinto.  “In 2016, guests will follow the butterfly to Hawaii to enjoy the sophisticated sights, sounds and tastes inspired by the island.” The black tie event will include silent and live auctions, dinner and musical entertainment by High Voltage. Early sponsors of note include Judy LeDoux, Arthrex and Thelma Lyon.

Nearly 300 people attended the 2015 Ball and over $440,000 was raised through cash, sponsorships and in-kind donations.

The Avow Butterfly Ball event earned a 2012 gold award from Fundraising Success Magazine. The 2014 event logo and 2015 event invitation earned Marcom gold awards.
