October 6 Event at the Reilly Arts Center benefits Hospice of Marion County

(Ocala, FL – August 20, 2016) Swing to the sounds of the fifties in a nostalgic gala tribute to the music of legendary songstress Patsy Cline. “Patsy” will be backed up by her band “The Jordanaires” (think Elvis and Eddy Arnold) and a special guest whose lyrics and tunes everyone knows. Our talented local musicians are sure to surprise and delight. VIP guests can get upfront and personal with cafe-style tables in front of the stage; table service with cocktails and delectables included, plus a chance to dance the night away under the mirror ball, just like the old days.

“An Evening of Patsy Cline” is an original production to be held Thursday, October 6, 2016, 7:00 p.m., at the Reilly Arts Center to benefit Hospice of Marion County. “This fundraiser is the first of its kind held by Hospice of Marion County and is sure to be a memorable night for attendees to sing along with old favorites of the ‘50s, enjoy dancing and some great hors d’oeuvres catered by the Ivy House,” said Rebecca Rogers, major/planned gifts officer. “Our surprise guest is a musical icon, so don’t miss it!”

Tickets are $30/general admission. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Limited Orchestra seating at $75/ticket with signature cocktail will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call (352) 291-5143 to reserve tickets and ask about table options. Tickets may be purchased online at www.hospiceofmarion.com/patsy.
