Those of
you who have been involved in the public policy arena at the Capitol will
remember Wendy Smith Hansen, who served in health care policy positions at the
Florida Department of Health, the Agency for Health Care Administration, and in
the Florida Legislature. Her most recent role of public service was as
the health and human services policy advisor to then-Senate President Jim King
from November 2000 through November 2004.
Wendy has
been very supportive of hospice and the efforts of FHPC during her public
service, and now, after “sitting out” for the required period of time, she is
available to represent clients before the
